FAQ
What work is involved with maintaining my roof?
Most people who get a new roof do not think about their roof until it leaks or needs replacement. This serious damage can quickly be avoided by checking your roof on a regular basis. At Metal Works Unlimited we check susceptible areas for potential problems and find and repair any minor problems along the way.

What are some of the signs of a potential roofing problem?
From ceiling spots and missing shingles, you can also look for cracked paint and peeling wallpaper. With over 19 years of experience, our technicians can quickly and accurately identify the root of any problem to repair any damage.
How long can I expect my roof to last?
The condition and lifespan of your roof depends on the type of roof you have, as well as effects of your environment and the maintenance that you have scheduled. According to the American Society of Home Inspectors, asphalt shingles last around 15-20 years, wood shingles or shakes last 10-40, clay or concrete tiles 20 +years, and metal roofing ranges from 15-40+years.
